Parks & Recreation
Village parks are open dawn to dusk and are free to use. Shelters may be reserved for family gatherings and community events.
The village pool
The Arcanum pool opens for the summer season in late spring. Daily admission and season passes are available at the pool office, and swim lessons are offered several times each summer.
The pool deck, restrooms, and main entrance are accessible, and a lift is available on request from pool staff. Hours change with the school calendar and weather, so current hours are posted at the pool and in village news.
Parks, shelters, and fields
- Ivester Park
- Playground, shelter house, walking paths, and open green space.
- Shelter reservations
- Reserve a shelter by calling 937-692-8500. Reservations are first-come, first-served.
- Ball fields
- Youth leagues schedule fields through the Village. Practice use is open when fields are not reserved.
- Splash pad
- Open seasonally during posted hours; children must be supervised by an adult.
- Park hours
- Dawn to dusk, unless a scheduled event is posted at the park entrance.
- Report a park problem
- Report a concern so crews can respond.
